A: Yes- as a Professional section of Unite, the UK's largest trade union, MHNA not only offers dedicated and targeted professional and educational services, but also industrial, labour relations and legal benefits

Q: How do I join MHNA?
A: You can join on-line at the Unite site. You can also download an application form by clicking here. You can then send the completed form to Unite at: Unite the Union, Hayes Court, West Common Road, Bromley, Kent, BR2 7AU.

Q: How much does membership of MHNA cost?
A: The Annual subscription is £119.40 for members who work full time. See below for full details of this and other categories of membership

Q: So- what will my membership give me? 
A: Membership of MHNA gives you Indemnity Insurance cover (to £3m); 'Mental Health Nursing,' the official journal of the Association delived to your door 6 times a year; dedicated conferences, training and professional guidance and professional support.
Membership also includes Indemnity Insurance to the level of £3m.
You can download a leaflet- called 'Gain More' - which will give you details of membership benefits; add full trade union services and that's quite a package.

Q: I can't access my online copy of MHNA's 'Mental Health Nursing' Journal?
A: Simple- just contact MHNA. Usually a technical problem, this can be resolved with the merest click of a button.

Q: How do I change my membership details, such as a new address? 
A: It's easy- all you need to do is visit www.unitetheunion.com and you can change your address, notify the union of a new employer and so on.

You can get membership forms by contacting your local Unite office or by contacting your local rep.
