| MHNA realises that there are a number of specific issues that subscribers face at this stage. We hope that most questions can be answered below, but if your query isn't covered below please contact ten Alps, our publishers, at tony.morbin@tenalpspublishing.com | |||
Q:
We
have an institutional subscription to the print edition of Mental Q:
I noticed in the Mar/Apr issue of Mental Health Nursing you mention that Q: We have three subscriptions to this journal through our agent, Swets UK. A: Each is now an unlimited user subscription online until that subscription expires. Q: As an institutional subscriber, I have been receiving differing information regarding our subscriptions to Mental Health Nursing. We have been told the last print issue would be for March/April 2008, but we have also been told the print copy will continue until the end of the year? A: There will be no more print copies. Q: I understand that we will need a password which we do not have. A: Right now you do not need one, but subscribers will be receiving them soon. Exact details have yet to be worked out, so please keep visiting the Journal page for updates. Q: We also do not have a subscriber number and what e-mailed address would you want, as it's not a person subscription, it's institutional. A: Under the current subscription, you just need a password with access from any email address. This will change at the time of renewal. Q: As a University library with several branches, we need to be able to put a link from our catalogue, telling our readers how to access it. Can we give out this password to all our readers, or is it restricted? How do we obtain this password? A:
A password will be provided and sent to the email of your choice. You
may publicise this password as you see fit. However, while it is for unlimited
access under the current subscriptions, in the future it will be priced
according to the number of simultaneous users anticipated. While we will
still not restrict usage in the first year, we would recommend a licence
in keeping with the usage recorded (or a restricted use password would
be introduced).
